We take pride in providing our fish healthy feed high in protein, fat and marine ingredients. Using marine ingredients should never cause a threat to wild populations and we use algae oil to reduce the pressure on other marine ingredients.

That's our credo. Mamasea is part of the Eide family, who have produced high-quality food in Western Norwegian fjords since 1970. Our mission is threefold. We want to:
Inspire a mindshift that embraces aquaculture as a future-proof source of food.

FOOD
We believe healthy and tasty seafood makes people happier. And the food gets even better when you trust that it was produced with care and respect. Our seafood is raised in the Western Norwegian Fjords surrounded by glaciers and mountains, with a steady flow of freshwater entering the fjords providing our fish with the best possible environment for healthy growth.
FUTURE
Everything we do is in a generational perspective. It is our responsibility to hand the planet over to the next generation in a better condition than we received it.

The fjords are what we call home. At the core of our definition of sustainability is taking care of the fjord that we farm in and the environment around us so that others may also borrow from the nature like we do.
